VINTAGE SUPER 8 FILM

Along with all of our professional digital camera gear, we also use real vintage super 8 cameras from the 1970’s.

These cameras use actual super 8mm film so the moments we catch with these bad boys are as authentic as it gets!

Our Process

This is not your cookie cutter wedding film process. You are making a serious investment and so are we! We are totally bought into you and your love story. Here is how the journey will unfold,

  • We will connect on a call to get to know the two of you and how we can create a wedding film experience unique to you.

  • We will provide you with a formal proposal for your wedding film collection. To secure your booking, a non-refundable 30% retainer, along with your signature, are required.

  • We will connect on Instagram, TikTok, and all the places to keep up with you. This gives us a better idea of what everyday life is like for the two of you. We want to see it all so it can help influence our filmmaking decisions.

  • Story Session - As the wedding day approaches, we will collaborate and plan a story session that celebrates your story. (if applicable)

    Wedding Day - We will also be taking you out to dinner or coffee to bring this friendship into the real world and to understand your wedding day timeline to make sure we capture all the most special moments.

  • We will be there with you on your wedding day filming all the big and little moments!

  • We use all the captured moments to build a wedding film that artistically tells the story of your love for generations, along with sending the Super 8 film to get developed and processed to get digitized

  • Turnaround time varies depending on season and deliverable, but we always follow up with an estimated time to keep you in the loop! You will receive an online gallery with your wedding film, super 8 film, and any extras you have invested in.

  • Yes, absolutely! We offer packages that include both photography and our video services, tailored to whatever you are looking for!

  • Taken from Wikipedia, “Super 8 film is a motion picture film format released in 1965 as an improvement over the older double or regular 8 mm home movie format.”. So basically, Super 8 is a type of camera from the late 60’s – 70’s that shoots on real 8mm film that is not only unique looking but also super cool and authentic!

  • We have many friends and partnerships in the wedding industry and would love to connect you with them! We have connections to florals/pressing (Isaac’s wife), photography, custom suits, planners, or even content creators. Please let us know if you would be interested in bundling any of these services together for a discount!

  • A story session is simply us coordinating a day (separate from your wedding day) with you and your partner to help tailor a story to add onto your final wedding film that adds personality and gives more insight to your relationship with each other. Don’t worry, we will help plan all of the finer details and let us do the rest!

  • Yes! We always shoot drone footage, although we don’t guarantee that it will always make the film either from creative choice, venue rules, or state laws.

  • My team is actually just a small group of 3 select videographers including myself. We plan to scale in the near future but this is a testament to how personal we are when it comes to your special day!

  • We strive to have a quick turn around so you’re not having to wait 6 – 8 months to enjoy your films. Most wedding films are completed within 4-5 months of your wedding date. We also shoot with real super 8 film which has to be mailed off, processed and digitized which takes about a month and a half.

  • Sure! We do charge a fee and just ask that you don’t try and make your own social media edits!

  • We require a 30% non-refundable retainer to secure your date. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding date.
